Our fee-based scanning service makes life easier for you. This means you can have your letter mail scanned automatically at our scan centre and receive it in digital form. A great tool, for example, for reading your post during your next holiday. But take note! Ensure you activate the service in good time. Because it may take up to a week for you to receive your mail digitally.
How to activate the ePost scanning service:
- Download the app: download the ePost/mylife app to your smartphone. You can find this in your App Store.
- Login or register: if you already have a Swiss Post login or SWISS ID, you can use this to log in. Otherwise, you can create a new account by selecting the “register” option.
- Address verification by post: after logging in, it is important to verify your address. This is carried out by post and may take up to 3 working days. We explain below how this works.
- Entering the code: once you have received the code, you can successfully verify the address.
- Subscribe to the scanning service: the final step is to subscribe to the scanning service in the Widget Store. You can find the Widget Store either in the web version at app.epost.ch or directly in the app by tapping "My Profile" and then "Widget Store".
You will receive your mail in the inbox of your ePost/mylife app after 2-3 days. Or you can access the web version via app.epost.ch.
Once the ePost scanning service is activated, nothing stands in the way of a relaxing holiday where you can read your post digitally.
